jane: ten months old

Janie Bunches,
Ten months old! Almost walking!
This month you took your first step without help.
It won't be long until you are walking solo.

You hate baby food. You've never really liked it.
A few weeks ago I made beef stew and you scarfed
it down like there's no tomorrow. It was hilarious.
So now you're eating big people food. And lots of it.

Heidi is still your best friend and worst enemy.
I need eyes in every room of the house at all times.
You'll be in your bedroom, both cackling back and forth
and the next minute I hear crying. You'll get there.
To friends, I mean.

10 month stats:
Weight: 18 lbs 12 oz // 39th percentile
Height: 28.4 inches // 66th percentile
Head size: 17.75 inches // 74th percentile

jane: eight months old

Jane, you're a crawling wonder baby!
This month you cut teeth, learned to speed around
the house on your hands and knees and
pull yourself up on your big sister's bed.
You LOVE to pull her hair, by the way.
You get a sneaky look on your face right before
you grab for it... but she deserves it. She takes joy
in pushing you over, rolling on top of you and
taking away your toys while saying, "No, Jane!"
But, you are the most-kissed baby on the planet.
You are loved on and squeezed all day long.

Watch out, world!

jane: seven months old

Jane, this has been a big month.
A few days before you turned seven months,
you started rocking on your hands and knees.
You have places to go and you are a determined girl!
You also sit on your own very well, which is so helpful.

You cut your first tooth, too!
It was a hard couple of days, but we survived.
You're going to be even cuter with tiny white teeth.

You have been introduced to most fruits and vegetables.
I can't tell if you have any favorites yet.
Though, I can tell that you don't love puffs.
We tried them earlier in the month and you
make gagging noises and spit them out...
even though you stuck them in your mouth.

While you are almost always cute, there is
one annoying thing you do. You wait until
your mouth is full of food and then spit(blow like a whale!)
it all out on your surroundings and me.
Okay, maybe it's kind of funny. But, super gross.
Dolly girl, you are entertaining, to say the least.
